Gettysburg Address, 1992

(The Decline Of Man-Chapter Six)

by Bill Carrothers & Hugh Sicotte

Warm it up, Abe! He's about to...
Warm it up, Abe! That's what he was born to do...

Yo! Four scores an' a couple a trips ago the boyz in the hood
busted a move on a rhythm nation, conceived and believed in
libertee and dedicated to chillin' the home slices for
equalitee.
Now we're mixin' an' fixin' south of the Mason-Dixon,
dedicatin' portions of the hood for the nation that would, the
ones chillin' on the slab.

Warm it up, Abe! He's about to...
Warm it up, Abe! That's what he was born to do...

But, livin' large, we won't dis, cannot miss this ground. The
Mac Daddies make ya jump, jump, jump, pumpin' an' humpin' cuz the
house can rhyme slow an' the house can rhyme quick.

Ya gotta do, not say! Ya gotta work, not play! Say hey!

Chillin' slabs bustin' a stank move, kickin' the ballistics
while the def rule of the house, by the house, an' for the house
shall not be dissed.

(repeat)
Warm it up, Abe! He's about to...
Warm it up, Abe! That's what he was born to do...
Warm it up, Abe! He's about to...
Warm it up, Abe! That's what he was born to do...
